Guardian No.1 in Customer Satisfaction Survey

Congratulations to Guardian Pharmacy for coming out on top with 91.7% in a customer satisfaction survey run by Roy Morgan.

Customers were asked to rate their pharmacy for the 12 months to July 2013. Guardian, the only pharmacy to improve its rating over the last 2 years, has moved from last place to first place, which is a phenomenal achievement. Other noteworthy contenders where;

  • Chemist Warehouse - 88.9%,
  • Terry White Chemists - 88.2%,
  • My Chemist - 88.1%,
  • Priceline - 87.7%, and
  • Amcal - 86.6%.

Amcal, who held the lead in 2011, dropped more than 4% into last place, while Chemist Warehouse has managed to maintain its second position since last year despite its "rapidly expanding customer base," according to the pollsters.

Roy Morgan Research general manager consumer products, Geoffrey Smith, has stated the results suggest a very competitive market among the retailers, with both the largest and one of the smallest pharmacy groups offering similar levels of customer satisfaction.
