Round Egg Benefits Cystic Fibrosis Charity

And now for this year's Easter story.

Britain’s Cystic Fibrosis Trust is set to benefit from the sale of a curiously shaped egg.

Presumably containing all the same vital nutrients as a normal egg, the special one has been placed on auction website eBay because it’s perfectly round. 44-year-old Kim Broughton from Essex found the egg laid by her prized Buff Orpington hen named - wait for it – “Ping Pong’ on Pancake Day, and immediately knew she had found something very unusual.

The egg sold for £480 (roughly $928 AUD), with the proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Charity.
