Forty CPD points

The Pharmacy Board of Australia has confirmed that for the period 01 Oct 2013-30 Sep 2014 pharmacists will be required to achieve at least 40 CPD credits. The requirement is in line with the current Continuing Professional Development Registration Standard and the Guidelines on Continuing Professional Development.

The Board confirmed that it is currently reviewing the registration standard and guidelines, with the documents to be published on its website later in 2013 as part of the public consultation process. If any change to the CPD requirement is supported by feedback to the consultation, details will be published in the revised registration standard.
