Simvastatin & Supplementing with Ginkgo biloba

Customers taking simvastatin can safely supplement with Ginkgo biloba for improving circulatory problems and memory impairment – as any interactions between this drug and herb is unlikely. Ginkgo biloba does not affect the blood concentrations of simvastatin acid (the active metabolite of simvastatin) or the cholesterol-lowering effect of simvastatin.
