Diabetes - World Increase

The rates of diabetes are increasing in countries throughout the world, posing significant challenges for organisations, institutions and governments.

The next World Diabetes Congress is being held in Melbourne on 2 to 6 December at the Exhibition Centre. Organised by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) the congress brings together over 12,000 delegates to discuss the latest findings in diabetes research and best practice.  This is one of the largest health-related congresses in the world and the only truly global meeting for diabetes.
